Do you offer emergency care?
We are available during normal business hours to treat your emergencies, as well as after work by calling our emergency numbers.

Can I use my dental insurance?
We participate with Delta Dental, Blue Dental Choice PPO and the FEP (Federal Employee program) from BCBS. For any other Insurace Plan we can submit claims for reimbursement as a courtesy.

What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards are accepted. We also offer zero- or low-interest financing.

Do you have a hygienist in your office?
Yes, we have a licensed hygienist in the office.

What is holistic dentistry?
Rather than focus on one area of a person’s body, holistic dentistry is concerned with the patient’s overall health.  Therefore, instead of focusing solely on a patient’s teeth, holistic dentists are concerned about the relationship between a person’s mouth and the rest of their body.

What is the difference between a regular dental cleaning and scaling and root planing?
Scaling is used to remove plaque and tartar that is below the gumline. The area is generally anesthesized in order to reduce patient discomfort. The tooth's root surfaces are then smoothed or planed so that the gum tissue can reattach to the tooth.

A regular dental prophylaxis (cleaning) is used to remove plaque that is coronal - above the gum line. The teeth are then polished.
